01 / The seed
Know the seed before you choose the grade.
White sesame has a natural ivory-to-cream appearance. Its seeds are small and flat, with slight variation between crops and lots. Colour is one part of the specification—not a purity test.
Hulled sesame
The outer hull is removed in a separate process. Request this explicitly when your recipe calls for it; naturally pale seeds are not automatically hulled.
Roasting is another step
Roasting changes aroma, flavour and colour. Agree whether your order is raw or processed, and validate the treatment needed for the intended use.

WAREHOUSE

Use a clean, dry store with ventilation appropriate to local conditions. Keep bags off the floor, clear of walls and separate from strong odours and non-food cargo. Inspect for moisture, pests and damaged packaging.
DISPATCH
Prepare the container as carefully as the product.
Check that the container is dry, clean and odour-free. Agree protection against moisture and load movement, verify the bag count and weights, then record the seal and shipping documents. The route via Port Sudan and Dubai is confirmed for each shipment.

Is natural white sesame the same as hulled sesame?
No. Natural white sesame retains its hull; hulled sesame has had that layer removed. Specify the form you need.
Can I select a lot by colour alone?
Use appearance alongside the sample, specification and relevant test results. Colour alone cannot establish purity, safety or processing performance.
